9th March: Waste Plenary Session, Green Works, Farranferris College Fascinating talks form Mairead Morrissey, AWN Consulting; Dr. Mary Stack and Claire Kelly, Cork County Council on the reality of our domestic waste stream and the story of two innovative community projects dealing with Waste. 21st March: Book Launch 'Fleeing Vesuvius', Cork City library CEF hosted the Cork launch of the latest FEASTA publication 'Fleeing Vesuvius: Overcoming the Risks of Economic and Environmental Collapse' which featured a riveting talk by one of the contributing authors, David Korowicz (who survived a bus crash to get there by the way). CEF will have a stand at this fantastic annual event - the largest annual gathering of environmental researchers in Ireland. Hopefully see you there.
