CEF again participates in the Cork St. Patrick’s Day Festival. This year we are delighted to be joined by a group from Mahon Youth Development who will depict wave energy and have created great costumes all from recycled materials – they even managed to use old election posters as part of their head pieces!

We are joined by Cork Community Bikes as part of sustainable travel and as we are in the midst of Mix Your Mode with associate partners RED FM will be joined by Dave, one of the patrollers, on his bike kindly on loan from Victoria Cross Cycles.

This year for the first time the float will have a cosmic slant with Blackrock Castle Observatory joining in and highlighting the importance of space observation and research in managing our continuing journey on this small planet.

Watch out for the panda!
