The Cork Branch of the Irish Wildlife Trust need your help in protecting Beaumont Quarry. Beaumont Quarry is a re-vegetated limestone quarry with a huge potential for wildlife and recreation. This is the first of its kind in Cork City. We are holding our first clean up where we are working with the city council to protect the site. We need volunteers to help us clean sections of the quarry. Safety equipment will be provided. We will also provide tea and coffee and chocolate biscuits. This will be a fun event and a short talk will be given on the quarry and how we are trying to protect it.
All we ask is a willingness to help. All levels of fitness welcome, participants must be 18 or over . Please contact us to reserve your place. firstname.lastname@example.org.
