Thanks to everyone who took part in the discussion session at Nimbus and also for contributions by email and supplying your own documents to peruse and use as reference.
Please find following the Cork Environmental Forum (CEF) submission to the Energy Green Paper. With limited resources and such a huge topic the submission is somewhat brief, however, CEF was also part of a collective response from Friends of the Earth (FOE) which comprehensively addresses the aspect of community energy and public participation. FOE also supported individuals in making submissions through a preprepared format which I know many members used to make their own personal contributions.
Members of CEF met at the Nimbus centre on 29th July to discuss our submission to the Energy Green Paper. Documentation circulated in advance of this meeting included:
- DECNR Green Paper
- CEF Energy Priorities
In addition documents made available from Xavier Dubuisson, which was presented at the CEF Energy Seminar in Fenruarary and a submission by Anthony Cohu, member and previous Chairperson of CEF who originally helped develop the CEF Position Papers.
