About 60 – 70 people took part in the Pedal in the Park cycle today which was the final event of a week long programme for bike week. Some snaps from a rather blustery bike ride along the waterfront off-road path from Passage West to Blackrock Castle. With the section from Passage to Rochestown almost 5km and another few kilometres to get to the Castle this is a long stretch, all of the children did really well to battle against the wind and cycle all the way to Blackrock. Once at the Castle some enjoyed the comfort of seeing the Observatory, others had faces painted and got balloons, with music and refreshments enjoyed by all.
