Even if you missed out on joining this great event last Friday you can still view the fabulous videos from some of the Cork Charity and Vintage sectors, which include short showcases from Barnardos, Self Help Africa, Records and Relics and Miss Daisy Blue.
The show also featured a montage of the wonderful work being carried out by St. John’s Central College
Fashion Students who have upcycled 2 piece outfits and creative masks with the support from their tutors including the ever enthusiastic Theresa Neville.
The Glitz & Glamour Fashion Event in Cork has been one of the highlights of ReUse Month for the past 4 years. Circumstances do not allow for a live show this year , instead there will be a showcase of Cork’s sustainable fashion scene with not 1, but 2 fun, inclusive and educational panel discussions from those in the know.
This on-line event will be intersperesed with some glimpses of the great pre-loved and vintage style offering avaiable in Cork. St. John’s Central College Fashion Students will feature upcycled items they have designed. Booking is essential on Eventbrite as tickets going fast.
Really great line up for these panels to set you on your way to developing a more sustainable wardrobe.
